KSZ Bionicle 706-4 Protector of Earth

First time I bought this brand. The street peddler let me try out one small set with an "introductory" price, and I find this KSZ brand really good. The set is similar to those Star Soldier set - for those that are familiar with Bionicle will know what I mean. Although the finished model is smaller than Decools Hero set, but I find the sockets and fitting quality is better. Like the translucent purple finishing, rotating Star drill, and the Rapid shooter on its body, it really works.

SY313 - Man Bat Attack (Batcopter Combat Rescue)

This is another set from the Famous Heroes Assemble series. Batman's vehicle always looks cool.  Box size is similar to the Space Wars Tie Intercepter V-Wing set, but cost slightly more now due to ...GST. Sinilarly comes with 3 minifigures, piece count just at 207+pcs. Finished model is not that big, but long and slender. This set includes Batman (I got many), Nightwing (with Glider) and Man-Bat minifigures. Ignore the "Comic book included" on the box. SY should follow BELA and print NEW STYLES instead of "COMIC BOOK INCLUDED" at the right bottom corner, or just blank it.

SY319 Heroes Assemble - Hulk Lab Smash

SY319 - BootLego Hulk Lab Smash set, copy of Lego 76018, previously I wanted to buy it just for the Big Hulk, but it's just too expensive. Big box set with 443+ pieces (kinda less for the high price tag), maybe due to the five minifigs (or one big fig, 1 big head fig, 3 minifig) which comes together, all I already have (more than one) except for MODOK. Feature many interactive "actions" in what Lego called as a "play set"
School holiday is coming, so, got this set for my kids to occupy their time. Another bootlego brand BELA have a similar set, wonder if SY and BELA get from similar "source". MODOK looks similar (flaws and all). Talking about flaws, there're a few missing critical pieces and Taskmaster have two right arm.
The Lab - Thor is trapped in a Vibranium glass chamber, where's the Hulk?
HULK SMASH!
TOO MUCH SMASH. (These chaos is actually simulation of all the interactive features in this play set)
Since there are so many interactive features in this set (Modok exploding blaster, collapsing walkway, Hulk smashing through the Lab's door, collapsing stairs and Vibranium chamber), hence quite a number of pieces actually went missing after a few days of playing.
Task Master, THOR, Falcon (my kid call him mosquito man)
MODOK, Big Hulk with single piece stairs ,AIM murder-bot (missing top piece)

Big HERO 6 - LELE

Got this BIG HERO 6 minifig from LELE today. Baymax shape really fits the LEGO mini figures shape, too bad he is not bigger. Nice cute set. The street peddler says many people just want to buy Baymax. The bad guy with the Kabuki mask is not bad. The rest of the figures is okay, just expect LELE quality. This set only has 6 boxes, since having one villain, hence one of the Hero out of the six is missing. My son ask, "Where's the Fire guy?"

KREO TRANSFORMERS Destruction Site Devastator

KreO, famous for their Transformer set. While KreO is considered a clone building block set compatible with LEGO, they really has establish a name for themselves in the building block category. Got this 9 in 1 Destruction Site Devastator - 560 pcs set.

One can choose to build 4 designs of Vehicles, 4 medium size Decepticons or one big Devastator Decepticons, with some destruction (or construction) site stuffs and 6 Kreon figures. My son o course chooses to build the Robots first, built all four in just under 3 hours.
HIGHTOWER - he came in like a Wreaking Ball
SCAVENGER - The best robot form among the four
SCRAPPER - Ready to get scooped
DRILL BIT - smallest and skinniest. Ironhide Kreon for comparison
In actual, not the same pieces of the Robots mode is used for the Vehicle mode. Some pieces are not used, and some pieces are from another Robot. Another 3 hours of build time and we converted (dismantled) the robots and changed into their vehicle mode. I find the vehicle mode nicer, but kids always like robots. Somehow I am unable to complete 100% the green vehicle if I do not dismantle some of the building parts (few pieces are also in other vehicles, is this really the case Kreo??)
Men at work with Decepticon in disguise
Nice mini Cement mixer
Hey - you there, you can't do that on the Wreaking Ball
Ironhide vs Decepticons
Guarding the site - the foreman blue office has a water dispenser

7 in 1 Solar Space Fleet

Try out this Scientific kit set. It is a DIY solar power toy. One can make 7 design from this box (7 in 1 means we can only select 1 out of 7 designs). The inside is Gundam like, fitting is good and accurate.  My kid choose to make the FAT robot. Although the solar panel really works, but due to the heaviness of the gears and model, it do not really move well. Have to select those small builds. Still, not a good buy for me.

Bootleg Bricks

Loongon
First time try out this brand bought last week. Got the engineering (~ Technics) crane set, but most of the 300 pcs inside are normal bricks. Only 20% is of Technics parts. Color is bright bootleg orange yellow. Although piece count is quite in number, but most of pieces are hidden from view, hence it's a bit redundant. They should make some sliding door or opening hatch for interior viewing if they want to invest in so many parts. Fitting is quite tight. Maybe due to it is a Technic set, my son kind of lost interest halfway, also because the instruction is not very clear. It does not illustrate the 1:1 scale view of "almost identical" parts hence sometimes a wrong part is used and need reassembling.

COGO
This brand is quiet famous, even have their own "creator" like box set. Bought this brand earlier way back in 2013 (F1 racing car) but find the fitting a bit too loose. Due to the need to clear off some gift vouchers, hence bought another small COGO Army set for my younger son, a small Army ship. Piece count is 190+pcs, but turns out this piece count includes the chain links which need to be assemble link by link. Somehow the fitting for this set is good, not Lego quality fitting, but at least not easily loose. The minifig is mediocre, my son says the legs look like horse legs.
See the chain link in the front, we need to link each ring individually
STAR DIAMOND
Initially I did not plan to get this brand, but due to the store runs out of Enlighten sets, I got another brand named Weida. Whether unlucky or lucky, the Weida parts inside has some error, hence I exchanged for this Star Diamond set (only one design left) which is more expensive. To my surprise this brand is very good. The fitting and feel is really 99.9% Lego. The bricks even have the imprint of the word Star on the studs. I do not know if this set construction design is solid, but the finished model is sure sturdy. Mini figures follow Lego design but with simple printing. The only quite loose part is the two Big Wind Blower, but Lego too have some similar problem with "protruding" parts. If only SY is this good. I should say the only cons for this brand is their design, they should find some good designers.
Ausini
Previously I did publish a post on Ausini Armored Heroes set. The brick fitting is loose. This instrument set bought at the same time is similarly loose, especially on the Violin handle and the Bow (the violin stick - no way will hold together without glue). There's a big sticker for the violin body to make it looks "wooden" finishing, but I did not used it. I like the violin stand (yes, made from similar bricks), can use to display other things. It came with strings, but I only fit it to the bow, but not the violin due to it gives one string short. Nice?

Enlighten
This brand is quite good, mostly come in a 3 in 1 design, meaning one can made 3 design from one box, but they only provide one design's instruction.  Previously I did post a Fire Rescue set which I find it good. I did bought another Army set for my kid, but some of the parts in this Army set do easily fall off. Maybe the design is not good, where some portion which is quite heavy is just hold by 4 studs (that big turret). Still a decent build, ugly minifigs though.

Scrabble - 2 letter words

After many (boot)Lego's and video games, my kid ask for a game of Scrabble, yep a "bored" (board) game, but somehow one need to get away from the usual once a while and think in peace for a moment. Only now I knows there're so many two letters words can be formed and valid, some I don't even know what it means.
OK is Not OK to be used in Scrabble, but KO is OK (get it?!).

Decool Superman Metropolis Showdown

Been quite awhile I bought Decool box set, well, as mentioned, Decool is not usually sold from the street peddler that I frequent always. This Man of Steel set follows exactly the features from LEGO, with the flipping car, falling antenna tower, including the dual faces of the Hero and Villain. Nice simple set, but having more pieces than SY's magic Turtles set. The yellow car is nice. Although I already got the same minifig from SY for both Superman and Gen. Zord, but this Decool minifig have two faces, so, I just use the face that I don't have.

SY208 Heroes Assemble - Big Blaster Gun sets

SY now like to come out bigger (pricier) box set with previously un-released Mini figures. The minifigs variant are good, my kids love the gun, but they are just a bit too loose to manipulate. One can secure the bricks with glue if wants. Searching from the net, seems like I do not see any Lego with this gun assembly. Is this "ori" SY creation?
Magneto
Dark-tor DOOM (most solid among the four)
Black Bolt
Phoenix - and her water gun (the most fragile - my son says its a giant blow horn)
Good mini figures variant

SY266 Heroes Asemble - Dr.Strange

8 box set, most of the characters are repeated but the uniform are different. Since  over here Decool sets is not always available for me, so most of the characters I don't have. For those characters I had, at least they are of different variant.
There's one purple color Batman - Batzarro. If not because recently I saw a DVD with this character inside, I will think SY is pulling my leg. Taskmaster is the only character that I have which is almost similar, maybe I can make Ghost rider out of him. Dr Strange is good. This set can be called the "Cape Set".as most of the characters have capes, and different types of capes too. If SY provide Thor and Wonder Woman with cape, that will be complete.

Marvels Avengers - Age of Ultron SY271

Movie time with my kids. Watch the highly anticipated movie for this year, Marvels Avengers Age of Ultron. I should say this is a Marvels fans movie. I find this better than the first movie, at least in the story wise. Best scene, the Hulk Buster vs. Hulk of course.
Got the SY271 Age Of Ultron minifigures set a week later. Now I have 3 Avengers set. SY change the characters details and Hulk's color (and his pants)  to match the movie. Thor has a Blue Hammer; and this is actually in the Age of Ultron poster, its like lightning is being channeled through the hammer. Hawkeye has different hair, too bad SY did not change Black Widow's hair style.
Here the minifig together with some free mugs from Darlie

SY326 Rocket Raccoon Warbird

The box size is similar with the Iron Man Suit up Gantry set. The piece count is just 169+, so just a short duration to assemble. but the finish model is quite big, wide in a sense due to the wings. Surprisingly, the fitting for this set is good, no loose part for SY bricks. The Rocket Racoon minifig that comes along with this set is not the same as the previous individual minifig releases, and has a much cooler looking gun, and a tail.
The Rocket Racoon legs can be moved
The Blam-Blam Brothers. (SY with Decool)
Wings extended and flying (just kidding)

SY210 Heroes Assemble

SY210 is Sheng Yuan's four box set releases of Super Heroes from Marvel and DC (only Batman).
Picture from the net, I did not put the I'm Best caption
Did not get all four sets as some of the figures I already have, and the accompanying build is not so significant. Seems like SY is now releasing a much bigger box set and some with two mini figures. Batman as usual still has the coolest looking vehicle, but it is sold out from the usual street peddler I purchase from. Most of the sets are actually base on "ori" LEGO set but having one less mini figure, only the Spidey set is almost similar.
Cap A on the Avenging Cycle fighting the Chitauri on an Air Chariot
Mandarin
The stock arrived 10 days later and I finally got the Batman cool bike. It is GOOD, the best set among the four. Comes with Technics parts hence quite a task for my six years old son. Similar batman minifig, so, I did not build it.
