SY279 Heroes Assemble - Double face print

Sheng Yuen SY went back to release similar DC vs Marvel Super Heroes of SY180 which is also almost similar to Decool initial DC vs. Marvel Super Heroes selection, Cap A, Wolvie, Spidey, Batman, IronMan, Mini Hulk, Thor and Superman. I remember the first time when I saw this minifigs from Decool I really like them, but find them a bit expensive.
Although the Heroes are the same, but this time most of them have helmets, except Supe, Hulk and Spidey. I did not get all of them, as most of them I already have. I only get Thor, Hulk, Supe and Batman ( I have a lot of batman, but do not have one with open wings). To my surprise this set from SY has double side face printing just like Decool. Is SY going to stay this way or this is just one time deal. If SY is going in this dual face direction, I believe more will prefer SY as some Decool printing quality is deteriorating. But some face are kinda weird to fit those full face mask, so, although the double face is a plus, but it's also a minus, which is why I did not get the full set.

Ausini Armor Heroes and Sluban Sub

Got two small Ausini Armored Heroes, the Red guy (my little boy likes red) and the Black guy. For RM3+, there are quite a number of pieces to assemble (min 60 pcs). Ausini fitting is quite loose, so, some of the assembly easily fall off - especially the arms. But, I find the finished figures look quite good.

Got the Sluban brand Nuclear Sub. This model has a scale of 1:350, seems like it is modeled from a real sub. Maybe it is a Chinese sub. Fitting is good. Nice for display as it also provide us a display stand made from bricks. Some sellers are selling this set as part of a 4 in 1 set consisting of a Carrier, Cruiser, Destroyer and Sub. The carrier measures 890mm in length, really plan to get it if it comes to my area. The only thing not good with this set is the stickers, the quality is "too good". Well, the sticker plastic is real thick, hence when we stick on a curve surface, it will not stay stick.

Decool Ninja 0077 - 0085 Jungle Robes

Decool - This 9 box set base on Ninja minifigures is cool.  Very seldom I can get Decool sets over my place. Ninjago character are the same except for their robes (Jungle robes) , but the bad guys are different, and I like them bad-ass snakes. For me. its a good set.

SY209 Sheng Yuen Heroes with Vehicles (red skull tank)

This set came in 4 boxes. I did not get SY209B as it is the same Riddler's green car from Batman - The Riddler chase set. (maybe smaller??  but look similar)

Director Fury and his mini Helicarrier. This one is really in the category of SY's Marvel Super Heroes Microfighter series. The helicarrier is quite a build at 117 pcs. Fury has a lighter skin tone in this set, The fitting of the back rotors is quite loose.to the body.

I did get the Riddler Green car a few months later. The car is shorter compare to the Batman - The Riddler chase set.

StarMerry - Not so Merry

New bootleg brand, Starmerry. The quality is low. If not due to the transparent figures, I will not be buying this set. Really a bad set. By the way, SY came out with similar transparent set much later, much much better.

At the same time I also got the vehicles-car set, but since it is not based on any reference, hence it is a cheap mini brick set to pass the time for my boys. If only the actual contents color is what shown on the outer box, it will be better. Also, no stickers or printed details, another "now u see it (on the box) now u don't (on the actual)". Some wrong pieces on one of the car.

SY269 DC Flash Variant

Is there really that many Flash variant from DC Comics?
Flash is well known in Red, but after searching the net, there are quite a few variant of Flash as there is a TV series on this hero. Yellow or  Yellow / Black pants is actually Reverse Flash. Yep, there is a Blue (Lantern) Flash and Black Flash. SY did a good job on the Flashes (but keep those mask on, some of the faces are stretched), somehow the "poles" that came along with this set is a bit "Chor Teng (in the way)" - why is Flash associated with Poles and lamp post? Flash Dance?

This set is actually not a popular set among the 6 design released for the Series 2 Microfighters, as the spider droid itself is not so popular, coupled with the battle droid minifig that comes along. Not many like or consider battle droids as minifig.

LEGO 2015 CITY Sets

Today AEON members day, LEGO going at 20% discount, and with every 100 purchase, RM10 voucher will be given. So, its kinda like LEGO at 30% discount. So, buy a few CITY sets for my kids for the remaining school holidays. Not much choice actually, unlike big KL-City AEON. The shelf does not contain any set higher than RM200. No collectors set. No Super heroes set. Limited (and small) Star Wars set.Well, no old sets, only new 2015 released LEGO sets.

60073 Service Truck (I call this the Portable Toilet set)
Well, not many LEGO set has a portable toilet. 233 pcs and come with 2 nice minifigs. My young one say "YEE!' (disgusting voice) when building the toilet. Ha HA. The toilet is quite a good build. Now my kids knows where those Lego minifigs go to poop.

60075 Excavator and Truck
Biggest set purchased today compare the rest. 311 pcs. Like the big Excavator claw (rubber band included), the conveyor and the TNT. Nice dump truck too.

60085 4x4 with Power Boat.
Quite a big set, in length and depth. Not many piece count, just 301pcs, Maybe because the pieces is Big in sizes. The boat base is a solid piece. The box says the power boat floats. Have not try it out yet.

I actually like this set, maybe due to the Space theme. Kinda like a mini Space Shuttle set. Just 155 pcs. Easily assembled. Those spacemen is nice.

Sheng Yuan Spiderman Copter Rescue - SY315

Got the Batcopter rescue last week, today get the Spidey copter rescue set instead. A bigger set compare to Batman's, but same size with the X-men vs Sentinel set (similarly around 300+ pcs), somehow the price is slightly higher. Good news is out of the 4 minifigues provided, I only have Spidey, as all the other 3 are new - Big Green Goblin ( Decool released this as their big figure range), Spidey's girl friend Mary Jane and Power Man (Luke Cage). This set is copied from an ori Lego set, but not just SY, Decool and Bela too have similar set.

This is a 4 box set, box size slightly bigger than those minifig box, but cost more than twice the price. The spaceship is just a small minibuild, but nice sets for displaying.

Decool 7105 - Batman Tumbler

This is what I call "THE SET". Have been waiting for this set to come by to my area, and being a Decool set, the wait is long. This Batman tumbler is similar to Lego Batman: The Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream Surprise 7888 (USD1199 EBAY !! what the....). There is another Lego 76023 set which is huge, will Decool do this? The completed model is great, solid, good fitting and no stickers, all details are printed.

My son interest in this set is also high, wake up early in the morning to complete it. The big launching missile at the rear of the tumbler has a soft rubbery tip and a decent firing range. It also came with two side flick missiles.

Came with two minifigures which I already have from SYs minifigs, but since these minifigs are from Decool, it has two printed face compare to SY with only one. (If you are reading now, SY is already having dual printed face)
