SY287 Space Wars

Space Wars is what SY usual name for Star Wars. Mainly the minifigs are troopers (5 of them), where most of them are from LEGO battle pack releases. One can build a space fighter from the additional parts contained inside this 8 boxes set. SY has been using this buy 8 build one gimmick lately (as in the Jurassic Park set) , maybe to boost the sales and to "make" their customer buy the whole set instead of selected individual minifig. How come Ezra (from Star Wars Rebel animation series) is here with the other movie characters?

LELE Unfold Knight 78085

My kids like this LELE Unfold Knight, or to be exact, Tenkei Knight (Japanese: テンカイナイト Tenkai Naito). This release is actually similar to the earlier LELE release of 79015 (only the box design is different), which follows the construction bricks from Ionix brand. Most of the time they will not rush to build minifigures, but not for this. Maybe to us it looks plain, but to them it is treasure. Yes, it is also a 6 in 1 feature where one can build the plane, but need to sacrifice some parts from the minifigures.

SY362A Ant Man Mech

The later releases of the Super Heroes and mech series. This is Ant Man, capable to shrink down to the size of an insect, maybe he need the Smashing Power to bash his enemy, hence the mech. Anyway,  this is just a brick toy release, I believe the character Ant Man do not own a Mech. The mech is not really Ant Man looking (just the color scheme), a lot of its joints and articulation parts are loose and always need to reattach them. Come with Ant Man and Yellow Jacket, but without their Mask-Helmet. SY362B is Wolvie Mech, it's out, but I may give it a pass.

SY383A and SY383B

My kids says they want to build some bigger brick sets, not always just mini figures. So, got these two releases from Sheng Yuan.
SY383A - Iron Man with Ultron Sentinels Airplane
Minifigures is similar to the AOU release, but the unique build here is the plane. It is made up of three Ultron Sentinels, see if you can spot the legs.

SY383B - Spidey and Carnage and a unique looking police "heli-craft"
Again, minifigures are the sane from recent SY spidey release, except the policeman. Both comes with that jumpy thing which I find a waste of material.

SY283 Heroes Assemble

Sheng Yuan releases anotehr Hero Assemble, this time more to DC Comics, maybe due to the coming movie release of DC comics characters. 8 boxes set, I did not get Supe. Mainly have dual faces.

HulkBuster - Titan hero Tech Toys

Finally I bought a big HulkBuster, no, not the Lego brick type, but the action hero toy type. I read that it can actually recognize and have a conversation with other Marvels Avengers Titan hero tech toy, I believe the interactive parts is what makes this toy having a higher price tag as actually it looks cheap in close up under strong light (some portion kinda thin), It do looks good when there light is not so bright.
It does not have much articulation features (only head and arm) and the detail is not very detail (in terms of color variation knee down and back view). But being less articulation, this means it is quite durable and sturdy built. Plus point, it is BIG, approx. 13" and looks good enough, For those that is good in painting Gundam, I think by bringing out more detail in the figure will make it look better.

SY282 Ninja(go) Jungle Robes

Another Ninjago set from SY. This set is same as the Decool Ninjago 077-085 set, only this comes with Skeletons and different bad guys. The ninja  are in their Jungle robes, where they wore zukin, with their elemental symbol printed on the front of the head. This release reminds me of similar but much earlier release from LELE (two releases of 9 box VS. set).

OK 1026-4 Ant Man the Movie 2015

Been quite awhile I bought this brand - OK, (yes, the brand is called OK). The last I bought was during their Transformers minifigs releases, which I do not really like the offset printing. The quality is so-so, but seems better than their earlier release. The items bundled together with the minifig is quite a lot but repeated. Two of the boxes contains missing parts, one negligible, but one of them is REAL important - one leg. I received mixed up colored legs before, but haven't yet missing a leg. Anyway, their display stand is nice even though the theme is more Spidey than Ant.

I saw LeLe came out their 8 box Ant Man collection. As we know during the Txformers set, LeLe is OK, OK is LeLe, get what I mean. But I do see some modification.

SY156 Princess

SY156 is Sheng Yuan princess minifigures series. I only bought the Little Mermaid : Princess Ariel and Prince Eric minifig, will get the others when and if available. It's not often you will get a mini doll form with mermaid tail. For those that like the Disney's princess, SY's set is a better choice than previous brand JLB.

SY actually came out with bigger box sets of the Disney princess series (together with buildings, castles), so, if you are planning to buy those big box sets for your "princess", then you may skip these minifigs as they are similar.

Robocar Poli - ROY

Although my kids seldom catch this cartoon, but the young one likes Roy the fire engine. Well, he always likes red color as with Kai (Ninjao), Red (angri bird).... We really need more firetrucks this days,... the haze caused by forest burning is really bad.
