Sheng Yuan SY318 Famous Heroes Assemble - Batman Riddler Chase

Marvels has Avengers Assemble - so, DC need to have Famous Heroes Assemble. It is just another "same" name that SY put on its box as there are actually many other sets with similar name but not similar contents. This set is actually a copy of Lego Batman : The Riddler Chase 76012 set which includes a comic book (but not in the bootleg). Funny thing is SY piece count is 330+ while Lego listed 304+pcs. Well, it;s a year late, consider it delayed gratification as with the Space Wars sets.
Where;s the comic book SY??!
Riddler, Batman and the Flash
Riddler's dragster's wing at the back is loose
Rockets launcher at the back
The Fast and the Furious 7.1 (yes, include Flash)
Compare to the previous SY302 Bat mobile, the SY318 is wider

SY303 Iron Man Armor disassembly platform

This set has been out for quite awhile, undecided to buy it as it is pricey for a small set, although the piece count are 217pcs. Anyway, decided to get it finally. SY is already known for its "not so tight" fitting (vs. Lego), hence due to the design of this set is really flimsy if one is to play with it, it can easily fall apart, especially the big circular part. Nice for display. I don't have the full red Iron man that came with this set, but it is kinda familiar.....

Start copying, machine!
TAA DAA! Now there's two of me.
The Red color in this iron man is similar with the Avenger Assemble Iron man without the torso gold. I think this is Mk3, while the one with the torso gold bit is Mk4?45? ...

Sheng Yuan Ghima (Chima) SY139 and SY140

Ghima - yes, "Ghima" is what Sheng Yuan (SY) named it, with a G. Believe these 2 sets are really for play base on the illustration picture at the back of the box. (I am prepare for the loss of parts - good thing it is bootlego). SY always comes out with good quality Chima sets. Had some fun time playing with my kids using the Chis as rewards. Somehow, not that easy to control the direction of those 2 Wheeler.
Ultimate Speedor Tournament
SY Chima set always will not disappoint - good quality play time as well

Lenox Lion attack play set
SY139 The vehicle shoots flat disc from its mouth (rubber band operated)
Lenox and Crug (base not included)
Somehow the gameplay excitement do not last long. Lego bricks are still more on the build than play side.

Sheng Yuan Space Wars "Tie Interceptor"

Sheng Yuan "Space Wars" sets are Star Wars Clones releases -  SY309, SY310 and SY312 are all named "Tie Interceptor" on the box. All are bootlegs from similar original Lego set.

In actual SY 309 is General Grievous Wheel Bike with Obiwan but without General Grievous (unlike the original set from Lego),  Comes together with quite a number of Technic parts, quite a confusing built with 272+ pcs. 3 small part missing, do not know if it is due to my side or not, but no big deal as the extra (different) parts from this and previous set can replace them. Somehow the instruction is a bit wrong. Like the way the wheel spins. Although having the most piece counts between the 3 boxes, but the finished model is not that big.
The wheel can spin
The bike at park
Obiwan and Darth Revan
SY310 is the Vulture Droid with a Neimoidian™ Warrior mini figure plus a Buzz Droid™ and a Pilot Battle Droid™ figure. Come with a few Technic parts but lots of stickers to stick.Total piece count 221+ pcs and equipped with two spring loaded shooter. Did not encounter any missing parts. Maybe due to the Technic joints, the wings is a bit wobbly but still will not fall off.
The Vulture has landed
The Vulture in flight mode
The Green guy looks sleepy
Finally SY312 is the V-Wing Starfighter with V-Wing Pilot™ and an Astromech Droid™ from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. With just 211+ pcs, some stickers and no Technic parts, but it is the biggest model when completed. This set is also equipped with two spring loaded shooter. Quite solid for a SY, and all parts are available and intact.
Fly mode pose
Landing pose
The pilot and the droid (kinda bright red)
There are total of  700+pcs of parts for the 3 boxes combined, but it just took half a day for my kid to finish building all of them. When the interest is there, things gets done faster. There's also SY311 Battle on Saleucami set compatible with Lego 75037, which I got it a week after (pre GST day - damm long Queue due to I got in from a dept store). Having just 189+ piece count, hence it is cheaper than the rest of the "tie interceptor' series.
At first I find this set a bit small and sort of like a battle pack, but somehow Lego did not make this as a battle pack set. After assembly, turn out the vehicle is quite nice.  It features a speeder (approx 5") with new spring-loaded shooter, a STAP and a Droid defense station. Minifig includes a BARC Trooper™ with blaster, 2 Battle Droids™ and 2 Super Battle Droids™. Nice add on to my Star Wars  collection, and for someone who want to build an army of droids, this is a cheap option. Somehow when Lego gives droids as part of the mini figures in a set, we really feel a bit cheated. For me, droids do not really falls into the mini figure category.
Battle on Saleucami
The figures included
The STAP and Speeder (front side guns not suppose to be there, my kid like it this way)
Got money? Can buy an Army

Kre-O CityVille Skyscrapper Mayhem

Saw this set have a "battery operated" features, so, give it a try. Previously I am fond of playing CittyVille via faebook, not anymore as it takes too much of my time, and need many "helps" from neighbors. Building bricks is better.
Three simple vehicles and a sky scrapper (with quite a few interactive pieces) can be built from this set. KreO named the electronic feature "Sonic Motion Technology", which is a battery operated base that provides vibration and city sound during game play. The vibration moves the mini figures when they are attached with special padded feet bricks (movement is random) as well as turns the helicopter's blades. Good and interesting play feature, the characters are cute but not well known, and although 431 pcs, but it look less.
Mayhem in a city
Eight minifigures are provided, one of them is a big ape called Zape, which look like Dog Pound (TMNT) with an Ape face. My son really love to play with Zape. Now I know how an actual Kre-O minifigs looks like, it is SO MINI. The transformer minifigs are different from the human minifigs.
Zape, Small ape, Amy Apekeeper, Dr. Mayhem, Colonel Bullet, TN Teeter, Vance Valdr, Banana boy
Hold it there Dr.Mayhem (stand not included)
Put him down, that's not a Banana

Decool King Steerer - Container Truck and Off Roader

Decool Technic series. The big 1300 pcs Ferrari set seems a bit tough for my 10 year old, complicated and made a few mistakes while building. So, got this smaller 100+ pieces set - The 3343 Off Roader (slightly bigger box) and 3345 Container Truck. Do not really know what a Off Roader is, but look like a Dirt Racer (definitely something that travels off the road). Similar Technic base assembling with movable mechanism feature.

Somehow the spring in the middle of the Off Roader does not do much, do not know what it is for
The container truck is better

SY 203A Bat Wing

This is the only set that I did not get previously during the SY203 release. Come with full dark suit  Batman (The Dark Knight Rises)and the Bat Wing. I got a lot of Batman, somehow I do not have this suit.

SY 155B Friends - Olivia's Lab

Friend's series, they are always colorful. My youngest kid love it. Bought from a department store,  the friends series is quite a hot seller. Figures stay the same, just to get those colorful surrounding items.
Like that small Wall E

LEGO AAT 75080

Today really spend a lot on original Lego purchase. The final one I bought is the Trade Federation AAT (Armored Assault Tank), the Droid gun tank that fights with the Gungan army in Star Wars Episode 1. The minifigs is nothing to shout for, but being a non frequent Lego buyers, I do not have Jar Jar, I figure I should have one of the most disliked characters in Star Wars for memory - the purple transparent shield is cool, and I kinda like this minifig. (not those droids).

With over 200+ pcs, this set is actually a good build, and study
Why does everybody dislike me!!!
There's a previous release of AAT from LEGO which resembles more to the actual vehicle. Some said this new release look like the Microfighters version instead of a replica of the actual. Link to the pdf instruction of the previous LEGO 7155 AAT below.

Some review say this 2015 set is a bad set, but somehow I like it. Although lack of detail at the front, but interesting to build and sturdy to play with,

LEGO Hailfire Droid 75085

The 2015 Clone Wars Hailfire Droid, kinda look like an over sized wheel vehicle. The built is unique (two big detail printed plastic wheel) utilizing some Technic parts, making it easy to roll around during play and the pieces not falling off, but it do not have the tread look. My son play with it for a day and it is still intact.
I do not yet have the minifigs that comes together with this set (clone lieutenant and 2 super battle droids) so its ok for me, but for someone who have been buying Legos, the minifigs is not that exciting. Should increase another pair of missile  launcher (need not be the flick type) to make a 3 pair per side launcher. Come on Lego, you already saved many pieces utilizing the big wheel dish, give us a bit more pieces in return.
Although the wheel loses its tracks, but it is durable and will not fall off during play

LEGO Imperial Troop Transport 75078 - Storm Troopers

This is not in the microfighters series, but the Imperial transport is sure small in size. This set is consider as the battlepack series.
The four Storm troopers is actually the reason why I buy this set (my first Storm troopers mini figures) . Also, I kinda like smaller scale model version of a vehicle as it look unique, and the size is just right for the hand to play with. It is surprising to see the way they "deform" a big structure into a miniature version, but still pack a lot of features and details (eg: Microfighter series). The building portion is real engrossing. I really love this set a lot. Got from AEON store, so, expensive lah...but, happiness is priceless.
Cost around USD13 online, good for army building if one is earning USD, but for us over here, we'll have to rely on the bootlegos as it cost more than USD20 retailing over here.
4 Storm Troopers from Star wars Rebel series with press Gun and storage crate
Figure does not come with dual face, but there are two faces available

LEGO Microfighters - Series 2

Previously bought 3 out of 6 set of the LEGO Microfighters series-1 release. LEGO Microfighters Series-2 releases this year, and I got again 3 out of 6 set. I really like the Microfighter series. It's like why I love LEGO minifigures, it is fun to have a miniture size of an originally big structure, this is what I call "FUN SIZE". Big replica size model is cool for display, but not for playing, and buying them really burn a big hole in our wallet.
One original LEGO microfighter cost more than the price of 3 bootleg microfighters. But the quality and satisfaction is always there with Lego. If we just compare the numerical value and not the currency exchange of the price, the numerical value in USD is lower than in RM. So, if one is earning USD, go for Lego, as my kid says, you won't find "melted" bricks in Lego.
Starfighter 75072 - Cute little winger ~ 90 pcs
AT-AT 75075 All the legs joints are movable, The head do look funny (Storm Troopers not included)
Republic Gunship 75076 - Fun to build with approx 95 pcs, great details
I wanted to get the SnowSpeeder as well, but it is out of stock (went to 3 places still can't get it). If not, I can build a mini "Battle of Endor" scene. (need more AT-AT though)
