Decool MIDI modular set - base from LG 10230 Mini Modulars (heard only for LG VIP). These modular are smaller scale of the five big LG Modular Buildings sets which Lepin was copying ( Café Corner, Market Street, Green Grocer, Fire Brigade, and Grand Emporium).
Decool make each building separately hence one can choose the design one preferred (if money not enough), but, all of them are brilliant.

As usual, luck plays a role in bootlego, encounter one missing (common) piece and 2 incomplete fill pieces. Some top most pieces are so loose that it will fall out if we turn the building upside down. BUT, it is still worth it, have been waiting a year for these.
Oh no ... terribly loose pieces. That's the worst. I read somewhere a thin layer of nail polish could add extra friction. I hope those sand green bricks are ok. It's one of my fav colours.

Its okay, only those top black clip like blocks on the green grocer is very loose. The yellow-green awnings for Cafe corner is loose (will turn) but still manageable. The green grocer bricks are ok.
DeleteI am not so worry about loose bricks (there is always glue), but more concern on incomplete or missing bricks, especially if it a non-common brick.
The latest military Falcon Commandos set is good, think it will be some time before it come over my area. Look better than the Pacific War set.
By the way, remember the LED modular from Sembo? The Sembo 4 designs actually look like the above designs. The Barber shop = street market, Wall Mart = Grand Emporium, Holiday Inn (this is the one with Golden windows) = Green grocer, and the Fire "Bridge" = Fire brigade.

I'm starting to lose count of how many sets of mini modulars made by Sembo and Decool. All of a sudden, so many were made.
Sembo have funny design... a bit too colorful. Decool follows Lego, hence have some standard. Anyway, I am still waiting to try out that LED pieces, street peddler says he is busy selling Mooncake festival items (lanterns)
DeleteDo you know that there is one similar (in deign) modular street with "Over colored" scheme by Aussini? The color is much-much more colorful than the Sembo that we may be poisoned due to artificial coloring
