The end of Marvel Avenger Alliance

Marvel: Avengers Alliance, the free to play a Flash-based game developed by Playdom (subsidiary of Walt Disney Studio), was among one of the social network game released on Facebook (on 1st March, 2012) which I played. This game introduced me to the various Heroes and Villains from the Marvel Universe that I have not even heard off before.

On September 1, 2016, Playdom announced that Marvel: Avengers Alliance will be shut down in all platforms on September 30, 2016.

Tried to collect as many characters (good and bad guys) from this game in minifigs form... still trying...

SY740# Falcon Commando Camouflage

Army or SWAT series , this is when bootlegos are not necessary bootlegos. Lego do not come out with any army series. SY740# is actually similar to Sembo FC set, which in fact, SY is Sembo repackaged. You can compare the minifigs and the weaponry from the Senbo picture below with the photos of the SY740# set. Only thing is SY added in additional builds and minifigs.. Even the instructions are separated into two pieces of paper, one bearing the Sembo serial numbers.

QS08 45005 Pika Pika Pika.....Pikachu

Ever heard of the brick brand QS08? They came out with quite a number of Star Wars MOC creation and MineCraft sets. Google the net for QS08 StarWars and you will see a lot. They even have Super Heroes and TMNT. This is the first time I buy this brand, which is their latest Pokemon GO 4 boxes set. Box illustration as below.

From the box illustration, we can see each box have one Pikachu and one different pokemon, together with some bricks which builds some sort of Pokemon World. The Pikachu is cute.

But one funny thing, I only bought 2 boxes to try out the quality, and I got all the 4 different Pikachu, meaning there are no other Pokemon variants included, just Pikachu (is this the case or I am unlucky - or lucky). The pokemons are not minifig type, meaning no assembling of head,  arm, torso, legs and do not have studs and tubes. Being a brand that came out with big Star Wars models (below), I find the bricks are not to my liking.

           

SY617 Ninja Thunder Swordman (Ninjago S7)

Ninjago minifigs, I always like those Villains minifigs.

Blue face Titanium Zane, but why not go full Titanium? Has the alternate robot face

Gold Zane is not so good either... kinda like Wood Zane

Black Ninja Cole RX  robes side arm print is good, and the arm is translucent. Fist of fiery!

Cole has alternate happy face (both face has the green scar), but hair piece is not included

S7 Ninjago Katana holder is different from earlier, both Katana are now protruding at the right side of the minifig.

Decool 7111 UCS Batman Tumbler

.... the Ultimate Justice vehicle is here....and Joker is not selling tires.

Basically, I did not spend many hours assembling this set, but it took me more than half a month to complete this 1869+ pieces set due to it is done with many breaks in between. My builder (my kid) is busy with his games and the elder one prefer to do the Modulars (mini street). Maybe because this set is for 16+ while my kid is just 12+. hence got kinda bored when building  a set with so many pieces.
I find this set design is not that solid, as the tumbler is made up of many flaps attached to the body. It is these flaps that keeps coming off if we grasps on them. Although we can snap it back, but, its kinda annoying. (will the ori fare better?) Being an expensive set, it does not come with printed parts, so, quite a number of stickers are present. Even the display plate containing the description of the tumbler is a big piece of sticker.on a big flat Lego plate.
The 7111 tumbler is bigger, more detail, more pieces, but somehow I like the 7105 tumbler set better (as far as I remember, that set do not come with stickers). But, it does look good in display, which I believe this is what UCS sets are for. they are too big to play with anyway,

For display only, those flaps is adjustable but not for grasp (easy to fall off)

SY510 Batboat Harbour Pursuit

SY510 Batboat Harbour Pursuit set copied from Lego 76034.  Weird looking, but quite sturdy for an SY with lots of interactive parts. Quite an interesting build with 315+ pcs and 3 minifigs + 1 big fig compare to original 3 minifigs. Cool looking spear flick missiles.

Evasive action...

Front boats can be detached from the Batboat, not just detach, there's a mechanism that can "propelled" each boat out (that yellow - grey ball end handle located at both left and right side) from the main boat.

Heard this set quite a number of people boycott? Because of Abominable (doomed)

Decool MIDI Modular set 1105 - 1109

Decool MIDI modular set -  base from LG 10230 Mini Modulars (heard only for LG VIP). These modular are smaller scale of the five big LG Modular Buildings sets which Lepin was copying ( Café Corner, Market Street, Green Grocer,  Fire Brigade, and Grand Emporium).
Decool make each building separately hence one can choose the design one preferred (if money not enough), but, all of them are brilliant.

As usual, luck plays a role in bootlego, encounter one missing (common) piece and 2 incomplete fill pieces. Some top most pieces are so loose that it will fall out if we turn the building upside down. BUT, it is still worth it, have been waiting a year for these.

Now one can own the above including the toy store at a lower price although with a slight reduction in quality (not quantity), but, still one can feel very happy :)
