A reader asked me whether the brick's color is close to original Lego bricks color, well, I took some picture together with original Lego bricks, color quite matching and close enough.

ReplyDeleteThe 2nd picture is for the bluish grey comparison with the original Lego jeep. Anyway, Hsanhe bricks is OK (not Lego fitting), just their stickers is bad.
DeleteI will pick up a few boxes of these Hsanhe minis soon and check them out. Most likely this Starbucks mini modular.
ReplyDeleteI like the fact it has a slightly brighter shade of Tan compared to Lego. It makes stuff look more realistic when MOC.
Initially when I look at the picture on the box, I thought that's a funny colored tall fire hydrant to match the restaurant. Now I know it is a RMcD clown micro-fig with hands. Brilliant.

DeleteHi, I'm taking of getting a mini street but not sure to go for Sembo or Hsanhe. Would you be able to tell which has better quality (and perhaps design) based on experience? Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteHi. I have not get the chance to get myself those Sembo mini street. But base on my experience with the Sembo "micro bricks", their brick quality is consider good, and believe will not be worse than Hsanhe. For Hsanhe, I find their sticker quality is really bad.
DeleteFrom the internet pictures, I am seeing quite a few different designs from Sembo, and they do look nice and comparable with Hsanhe. I will definately get some Sembo mini street if they do come over my place.

DeleteJust got myself some Sembo mini street. Yep, the brick quality are good, fitting is not very strong, close resemblance to SY quality. Sticker quality is way better than Hsanhe. But I saw some new releases from Hsanhe, the building seems Wider and comes with two minifigs.
Assembling the first Sembo set, everything is good. But next 2 sets encounter some missing and wrong parts. Also, my kids (and me) kinda prefer the design from Hsanhe. You can read more about Sembo ministreet when I post them.
