Take a "Brick"

Been awhile I did not post anything huh. Seems like the bootleg makers have pull the brakes on minifig sets, mainly coming out with big sets. Even my frequent street peddler is selling back the AOU's , Ant Man minifigs,, even the old SY Toy Dino figs (well, it sells, kids like Dino). No new stocks. I remember almost weekly there will be releases of minifig set from various bootleg companies previously (remember the Lantern corps days). Its like they are taking a "brick" (break).

The street peddler did ask whether I wanted the Dunk team minifig (SY298), I say I'll pass for the time being.

Maybe minifig is no more selling like hot cakes.... Or, they are looking for the right time to launch their new minifig releases together with the blockbuster movie DC's Dawn of Justice and Marvel's Civil War. Well, the super heroes are practically similar, hope they make some variation to match the movie, with better printing, especially side printing. Anyway, believe other brands (Dargo, Doll, DLP, Elephant etc) which mostly do not come to my area will released a few new ones to enter the playing field

Try out some new brand coming out the ToBot series (stay clear from it). If your kid like ToBots, buy the actual toy figure which can transform to car.

    Saw the movie BvS:DoJ, not really that great, in fact, felt a bit bored during the middle. SY did not come out with any BvS mini figures todate, but there's one brand under XINH did. Not bad when view from internet sales site Aliexpress.

      Just watched BvS too. Somehow, it is not as good as the expectation. Every director have their ways with movies, but for me, Zack is not really my cup of tea. Those flash back and slow motion scene is just taking up time, hence making the flow of the movie, just not smooth. My kids don't understand the movie, and sad to say do not like the movie. Maybe he has his style. Michael Bay too has his style, and critics is mostly negative on him, but my kids loves his movies. Fun and exciting. I don't see people walking out the theater halfway in Bay's movies.
      Watching Tony Stark taking on the Hulk in his Hulk Buster suit is more exciting. For DC vs Marvel 2016, somehow Marvels is hitting and scoring.

      Oh ya, the XINH minifig looks good
