SY 731# Mighty Micros (2)

SY Mighty Micros - 731A and 731C. I actually did not noticed until a reader told me the vehicles are different from the ori-LG. Ori Bat-car do not have the wings, and the wheels of the vehicles are of different size. Similarly, the other characters vehicles are different. This leads to the questions of if SY came out these as their own creation, will it be well accepted or consider as cheap crap in the purist world?

Kara-Okay! Sembo Mini World SD6718 - 6721

Kara-Okay (Karaoke) - Empty Orchestra, good place to show your talent. Don't have the Voice, it's okay, there are always private rooms available for "happy hour" with close friends. Be it Pop, Rock, Country, R&B, choose your "yum-song" (favorite song of choice) and sing your heart out, and with a bottle or two of that roof sized Heineken, no one will remember what you sounds like the next morning.

SY 618-# Falcon Commandos

This 8 boxes set are slightly bigger than usual. Difference are the mini builds have more piece count, and they do look good. Minifigs came with armaments and suits. Side arm and legs are printed!. Only has one expression, no hair piece provided, but a different types of hat-piece among each fig.

Sembo modular 6503 Holiday Inn

The final modular building from Sembo first 4 LED modular release. Holiday Inn Hotel, with golden windows and entrance. For  those that are familiar with modular, this design follows the Green Grocer of LG/Decool series. Once again, the decal transfer is a plus point.

Sembo modular 6502 Walmart

Walmart - resembling the Grand Emporium. This is the only corner building from this Sembo set. If one wishes to put it side by side with Hsanhe modular, the peg hole is positioned slightly different even though the base have the same height and depth.

Like these cute sets. Although copied from ori-LG, but do not know why I can't seems to find the Brainiac-Cyborg set from the original wave in the internet.

Ori-Wave One release - where's Brainiac?

SY on the other hand do not have the characters from the bottom row of ori-LG wave 1 release, maybe delayed to next wave. (yep, SY releases SY732# later, with one different set of MM minifig vs. ori)

Sembo Modular SD6501 Fire Bridge

Fire Bridge as what stated on internet sites ... which actually is Fire Brigade. The design is very similar to the Decool modular Fire Brigade set, only Sembo modular always has interior, hence it does not have the back door. Sembo change the bell to a clock (decal transfer)

The pole and fire engine is great, but the top floor is kinda empty

Comes with one LED brick, fixed to the upper floor ceiling, but not much details to light up. There are suppose to be 2 red canister thing at the top floor, but since it is just hooked onto the black pillar stud, it is very loose, hence dropped and missing.

Dargo Future Knights - 893# and 897#

Dargo 893# is a 6 boxes set featuring the Nexo Knights with their color horses (I only bought AXF - 893F). Dargo named this set Future Knights. If you want blue, red, green and white horse, get the remaining Future Knights from this set. I actually kinda like the Dark Blue horse.

This is one way to make a minifig big, ,add a Big armor torso and large arms

There is also a Dargo 897# set with normal color horse. I bought 3 of them, which depicts the characters in Ultimate mode. One thing with this set is the box illustrated 2 Power Shield on all the boxes, but only one is inside.

Sembo Modular SD6500 Barber Shop

Finally arrived- the bigger Sembo modular street which consist of 4 designs. Sembo actually follow (not 100%) the designs from bigger Lego mini modular street (the "VIP only" set). My girl like to assemble modular street. Initially I thought the set is as big as the Lego modular set, turns out it is much bigger. And, they came with LED brick, that's the special feature of this set, battery included. Here's the first design SD6500,- Barber Shop

The street market has been turned into a barber shop.

Notice that big black brick? That's the battery compartment (kinda blocking huh?)

Turn ON the light

Light from the back. Too bad, only one floor is bright.

Even though Sembo provide translucent ceiling-floor, but the lower floor is still quite dark as light can barely pass through. Tried to google if the logo follows any famous Barber shop, can't find it.
