LELE Dinosaur World

Jurassic World LEGO theme set from LELE. Them Dino-s are good. Arms, legs and head articulation, plus the jaws can open and snap close. No assembly required for the Dinos. We only assemble the minifigs and the vehicles. Quite pricey for such small piece count, but the kids love the Dinos, although apart from the color, 3 of the dino actually are of the same Velociraptor species. The "ball" vehicle is nice (the kids like to play with it), but the guards station is a let down. The minifigs are not the main characters from the movie.

3D Puzzle Transformer Robot Aircraft Carrier

My spouse bought this from DIY shop, suppose to be a 3D jigsaw puzzle. Pieces are not made out of cardboard, but foam like board, so it is more durable.Come with plastic joints for the arm and leg articulation. It says it is a Transformer Robot Air Craft Carrier, but it cannot be transform into an aircraft carrier. My son have been spending a few days getting this build, so, it is not that easy, in terms of fitting. Just got this to fill up his time, as I do not really like paper puzzle (too fragile) , and the bootlego supplier is not back yet.

Finish product suppose to look like this, but my kid gave up halfway.

SY213x Iron Man with Hall of Armor Cells

Bought this more than a week ago. I did not buy all together at the same time, as I am a bit confuse on whether I already have this Iron Man version or not (well some are obvious, but those red + gold armor ones is almost similar). Anyway, I got 3 out of the 4 boxes in this set. The hall of armor cell is a good feature, but this made the Iron Man collection more expensive, although it comes with an armor vest. Most of the Iron man in this set are from the Age of Ultron sets : Mk43 and Iron Legion from the SY275-276 2nd wave AOU set, while Mk45 from SY271 1st wave AOU set. Only the gold guy is new.

This is Eid

The street peddler that I frequent to buy my bootlegos is closed for a week. Nope, not because it is Eid, Hary Raya Holidays. Many of us is lucky to have the days off freeing our mind from work, and yes, still get paid during our holidays. But for the street peddlers, one day loss is a reduce in their income. They don't get any income if they take holidays or resting due to medical reason.

The street peddler is on a one week rest due to he is having an eye cataracts surgery. Hope he recover soon. For the time being, bought this 3D wooden house building kit. Quite an easy build for my elder son.

Ant-Man

Movie time - ask my kid to choose between Terminator and Ant Man, all want to watch Ant Man. That's the power of advertisement (on pay TV). Well, Terminator is during my era, especially T2, Marvel is now.

The end credit scene..... the big question.... Whose side are you on?

2016 will also see the year DC Comic clashes two of their biggest character,.....which will also features a few of DC superheroes. It's about time.

Actually when I was young, I actually like and know more DC Comics characters than Marvel. I believe my kids will know the Marvel side better due to the strings of movies for the pass few years. But, Superman, a lot of people knows him, jokes aside on the trademark red underwear outside, its an icon for many kids of their father as a super hero, or any person that can juggle a few tasks or jobs at one time without getting tired.

Sheng Yuan SY275 and SY276 Age of Ultrons (the rest of them)

Need more characters from the Age of Ulton movie to be part of your minifigs? SY275 and SY276 has answer your prayers. Voila - double face print. Well, some of the figures are repeated (Spike hair Hulk and 2 Iron Man), so did not get the full 2 sets - 16 boxes.  Some want to get but not available (like New Hairdo Black Widow). The 2 Iron Man's in this set are similar to the 4 box SY213* which come with a Armour display alcoves.

JLB Disney Characters

Mickey and Donald. Okay -Justified, at least for my kid. Not a good quality set, some fitting are very loose. JLB uses the same head for Mickey/Minnie and Donald/Daisy. Why so lazy to omit the eyelashes to make it look different. Remember the first JLB Frozen release that is not "Frozen" but "Friends". Somehow this new release do resemble the Frozen characters Elsa and Anna, Olaf is in too. (the Mickeys and Frozen are two different sets) Just expect JLB quality (haiiin..) and you will not be dissapointed

SY272 Ninja(go) - Tournament Robes

Actually bought this set together with the 3 Hulks. Got 7 out of 6, minus Master Chen. ( I just got him from decool). Again, another great Ninjago set. I have bought so many Ninjago set from various brand (LeLe, Decool, SY), I thought I will have already got this set. Somehow to my surprise, I have not has a set with Sleeveless Ninjago. These are their tournament robes. Like those side bricks too. If you ask why Zane is not here, because he did not receive his tournament suit in the animation series, but Zane retroactively received a Tournament robe variant in 2016 with ori LG 853544 NINJAGO Accessory Set.

Sheng Yuan HULKS SY255

Can't get enough of Hulks? SY255 has 4 different color of the Hulks, Green Hulk, Red Hulk, Grey Hulk and ?? Yellow Hulk. These Hulks comes with torn shirt , or sometimes look like a vest. SY uses the new Spiky hair piece for this set. I did not get the Green Hulk, I already have four of him. Although the new Hulk have spiky hair and a vest, its still Hulk.

Comparing with the previous Green Hulk (and from the photo on the box), Grey and Green Hulk have the same face. Red and Yellow Hulk have different faces, with yellow having the most angriest face.(should put to red)
In actual, Red Hulk should look different - more sinister, while Grey do look like Green. But there is another option from the cartoon "Hulk and the Agent of Smash", them Hulks really look different individually, Red Hulk has a army haircut wearing a white singlet, and Grey hulk (Skar) has long warrior like hair and clothing.

Talking about yellow,, is there really a yellow Hulk or because it is LEGO skin color?

After searching the net, there is a Yellow Hulk. He is Jackson Lenard, a character created by Legend but used in the Marvel Universe. He is a friend of Dr. Banners who was trying to find a cure for the hulk, but turned himself into one!

Yellow Hulk has all the main abilities a "Hulk" would have.

Super Steangh: Yellow Hulk is incredibly Strong, but is the Weakest of the Male Hulks.
Super Speed: Yellow Hulk can move faster than the speed of sound due to the electricity flowing through him.
Legenite Immunity: Due to the Non Radiation of Liquid Legenite going through Dr. Lenard's Blood. He is immune to the deadly radiation of Solid Legenite.He can warp from one place to another due to his Legenite
Self Control: Since Yellow Hulks transformation is not triggers by Anger. He has better self Control than all the other "Hulks".
Electrokinisiks Abilities: Yellow Hulk can make large Amounts of Electricity and uses his main attack "Lightning Hulk Smash".
Personality : Yellow Hulk is surprisingly Calm, and not as angry as the other Hulks. He is mainly very polite due to him having better self control. But is still very pron to get mad if provoked.

SY273 Pirates of the Caribbean

Finally, SY came out Jack Sparrow  (and many of him) in their SY 273 eight box Pirates of the Caribbean set (POTC). Somehow, one of the box actually is a repeated same character, so I just bought 7 boxes, and 3 of them is Jack Sparrow in different variant. But from the box, it depicts 8 different characters, maybe his supplier wrongly packed for him. Requested the street peddler for the KSZ set (better set), but he does not have it. This set have a few "lego yellow" faced guys, so does not look like from POTC series.(I got the missing figure a week later)

Decool CITY Mini Street View (1101 to 1104)

Decool CITY Mini Street View is really a nice cute mini build set. Comprising of set 1101 - Theater, 1102 - Pizza Outlet, 1103 - Fire Station and 1104 - Townhall. Utilizing mainly standard bricks options, these minibuilds show us what LEGO bricks are capable of with some imagination. The creation is really limitless if one has a good imagination. Still remember YG brand's caption : "Cool bricks contains more room for imagination". Really like this set, everything is so mini.
