Kidzania KL

KidZania - Get ready for a better world
KidZania is deZigned to encourage learning through role-playing activities, allowing kidZ to transcend the boundaries of the grown up world to play their part in a community and also experience their dream careers through work while playing in a hyper real kid size city.

The kids got a  chance to ride in an ambulance, not everyone can do it in real life
Wanna be a pilot ( a long wait though)

Yes, the concept is good, but the execution still depends on the staff, some wear a cheerful smile to make the children happy, while some wear a monotonous face, the noise level from all the kidZ (and sirens) may make one "craZy". But, it is a good place to acquire knowledge through play. Toddler's (2-3 yrs) entrance fee is approx 50% cheaper than children (4 to 17 yrs ), but for my opinion, it is better to bring your child after 5 yrs of age as most of the activities have age limit. Yes, it is cute to see your little ones dressed up in adult working uniform, but taking pictures of them in uniform (further comment on this below) is not that straight forward.

Entrance fee has gone up since last (year) we visited this place. Outside food is not allowed inside (even dry food), but the food sold inside is pricey and lousy. Fill up your stomach before entering, there's a Mc Donald just downstairs as the opening time per session is 10am to 3pm or 5pm depend on which day you go. Your kid can make their own sushi if they want to fill up their stomach with a little bit of food.
The food can still pleases the kids (does it?)
The thing that I disliked most is it is hard to take a decent picture of your kid in their role playing uniform, as most of the activities are conducted in closed door, and only their in-house photographer is allowed to take pictures. One had to fork out RM30 (per photo) if one plan to get them. There are quite a few conducted outdoors, especially the fire fighters, police and medics. Can even join the outdoor dance parade or performance.
Dance the day away

One thing my kid learns at KidZania is they have to work (not necessary hard) for money$. My son manage to make 200 KiZos (currency in KidZania). A better world? It is still a money driven world.
