SY changed the name to MOAMR. They not just changed the name, but the figures as well. Both the mini doll and big fig included are different from the ori LG set. SY have 90 piece count more. MAUI's fish hook is one single piece (with patterns, although smaller), unlike LG which is build with brick pieces. So, those that want an exact duplicate of the ori LG sets will be disappointed. It is a fun set to build for those that have watched the movie and like to recreate the scene.

This is different from Lego MAUI, look like a cross between the MAUI action figure and LG Big figure.
ReplyDeleteHis leaves skirt looks better than ori LG painted pants. My kids says the one thing lacking is his tatoos, way much lesser. But Moana is not that good vs ori LG,don't even look like her.If not for that blue pendant, she can just pass as one of the villager. The smaller SY village set has better figures, but I want that sail boat.
