DLP 9023 Iron Man 9 in 1
Another set of Iron Man from DLP. The color depicts on the box cover is quite misleading. Initially I thought the dark brown (first pic) is black. I actually like DLP's minifigs.

Those lines on the front face really makes some of the variant look more Mean
ReplyDeleteI too felt something different looking at the box art initially, like Iron man has changed to the sinister side. I am not really an Iron Man variant expert, maybe one day I will compare from the net how's the actual looks like.

ReplyDeleteRealized I did not put the sn num. for this. This set is from DLP 9023 8 boxes set. (Google and you will see the box art) Each box comes with some extra bricks which we can combine all of them to make that Big Strong Iron Man. Only drawback is you need to buy all 8 boxes ...

ReplyDeleteThis set has been out for quite sometime, hence many places will be out of stock. You plan to get this for a few specific Iron man or to build that Big Iron man? If you plan to get this for the few specific Iron man, some other brands will sometimes re-release some of them, but Tank, Gamma and Blue steel is very limited. If you plan to get the big Iron man, there is actually much better looking Hulk buster in the new releases.
I just need iron Man mk24 tank 😂 it's expensive here due to it's rarity

DeleteYep, Tank is really a rare minifig even from clone brand. If not mistaken, I think only DLP released Tank.
yeah, only DLP, i already talked to the factory to remake, hopefully it will be appear again soon
DeleteSomehow the blue Sneaky from this set just appear out of the blue in one of DLP later release. If they do release Tank again, hope they will make some alteration to the helmet to reflect Tank more accurately. I am hoping they re-release their detail printed Mk41 Bones too.
