The Ghost - LEGO Microfighters

Always love them STAR WARS microfighters. Got the Star Wars™ The Ghost™. from LEGO Series 3 Microfighters release. Not one of the best shaped spaceship around. Ori Lego bricks, no loose clutch, everything works, no missing parts. Comes with Twi’lek Hera Syndulla.
USD cost will be around 10, but here it is RM50. Think I'll get the rest of the microF in Bootlegs.

BELA 10467 SPACE WARS - Millennium Falcon - The Junk has came

Finally, got the Millennium Falcon from BELA. Somehow this is the one that came to my area vs. Lepin and LeLe. So, try my luck. Surprisingly, the minifigs looks good (meaning better than what I imagine it will be, but not top of the crops)

This set came with 6 minifigs (and a BB8). Just for fun, I ask my kid to pick a head, torso, leg (and so on) randomly and assemble them. The results is as below. Poor Finn, he is plain and look like a reggae singer, and Han Solo changed his jacket. Ha Ha,

For those that had experience with BELA, well, not exactly good clutching quality, and since this kit comes together with Technics parts, the fitting of normal bricks to Technics bricks is not really that tight. Huge box with 1364 pcs, that's quite a lot.

Let's start fixing her up..

Took around 12 hours (not full time) to complete Book1, Looks fragile huh....

Another 12 hours (also not full time) to complete Book 2, Bela gave 5 pieces of wrong bricks for the interiors. Although 3 of the wrong pieces still can be use to complete the model, but I need to use one 1x2 bricks (very common) from my spares. Believe buying bootlego set involved some Luck.

The finished model is as big as a large pizza. Overall, the MFalcon look very nice as a display with good interior details (one can add more details), but not so solid for the kids to play vs. the Tie Fighter due to the design, as well as Bela clutching power are quite weak. One need to know where to hold during play. Don't worry, it don't fall apart easily if hold correctly. The spring shooters?,... ignore them (not workable)

Flight by night

A reader ask me to take some picture on the minifig due to the "mash-up" fun above. Believe what was not shown clearly is those space pirates, Tasu Leech and a Kanjiklub member. Anyway, here's one with older Han (different face expression - same jacket) and the pirates. The pirates only have single face printing.

It has been 4 months since I bought this, due to the kids was playing with it, I can't seem to find Finn (think he is wearing a Stormtrooper mask and got mixed up with the other troopers minifig). Anyway, the first picture of Rey, Finn and BB8  and the other picture of him holding a spanner with Chewy wearing poe's jacket is correct and not mixed up. The final picture is a happy Rey inside the MFalcon cockpit

LELE 79210 - First Order Tie Fighter

LELE -  big "STAR WART" releases. LEPIN has been releasing those Big Star Wars brick clones recently. LELE is coming to the scene a bit later, but still the demand is there. LELE bricks fitting is in the category of SY, will elaborate this later. Have never built a Lepin, so, cannot comment, but heard quite a number of positive comments regarding Lepin bricks.

First Order Tie Fighter - Big model

Minor flaws encountered:
When opening the front and back cockpit cover, the bricks where the cover are hinged will come off  due to the weak clutching power. Top cover is okay. The small antenna rod is very loose. Don't really mind for loose bricks (there's always glue), more concern on lost (missing) bricks. BUT, there are no pieces missing nor wrong bricks, there're even extras.
The instruction booklet is so hard to distinguish between those grey levels, even black bricks. Many time assembled the wrong color bricks, but in a way, it is easy to remove the bricks, so, the con can be a pro in a way.
Tie fighter pilot helmet is somewhat obstructed by the shoulder if put "face front".

One can fit a Tie Fighter pilot inside (in fact it can fit 2 as it is a twin seater)

Overall, good Solid built. The wings don't fall off as what I heard from comments over the internet, in fact, it snap-hold very tight to the body. The spring shooter works!, even after my kid dissect it and put it back together due to he is curious of how the spring works inside.
The tie fighter really has the weight. Believe if your kids keeps on "whoozing" it in his arms for a few days, it can developed his arms and wrist muscles like a dumbbell.

Why is it called a TIE fighter? Because it looks like a Bow Tie!

LELE minifig, not the best for bootleg brand, but it's OK (One of the pilot is in the tie fighter).
