Decool Heroes , Villians, Iron Man and one Fairy

Decool superheroes (and villians) 6 minifigs set 0169 - 0174, Hero6 (5 box set 10511 -10516) which are miniature of the previous Hero5 , Decool Iron Man 3rd wave, suppose to be 9 box set (0160 - 0168), but only get 5 as most are repeated from previous release. Finally got the MK1 and previous Midas Iron man.

Lastly, JLB Fairies series. Bought only one of 6 box set, which is Tinkle Bell, but, Tinkle's face is not so pretty, but nice wings. Certainly will not get the remaining 5. JLB have the mermaid series too, but I'll pass.

HERO Star Soldier - Bad ass villians

Got this big Decool HERO Star Soldier set ( 4 boxes set - 9301 to 9304) - mainly villians. I did say Decool joints is good, but somehow this set some ball joints is loose,hence I can't pose it well. Maybe because the weapons are heavier.(nah) Equipped with (plastic) marble shooter. These are really bad ass - my son likes Thunder the most.

Decool Dragon BallZ

Bootlego? Lego do not have DragonBallZ (DBZ). Still consider bootlego?
Anyway, it is a cool set to have. JLB did DBZ too, but not to this level.

Anyway got JLB Golden Batman and Golden Wolverine. Batman is great with golden batarangs, (JLB's gold looks gold), but Wolvie look like Prince charming with the "golden haaaaaiirr" (imagine him tossing his hair like in a shampoo advertisement), but it is unique. There's also one with White Hair (old aged Wolvie HA HA). That's how JLB can compete - by being unique.

Decool HERO5. Good quality set, living up to Decool standard. Ball joints is not loose. Many movable parts for action playing. Bought medium box set (10201 to 10206) and big box set (10301 to 10306). Also 3 small box set of HERO (9201 to 9206). Did not get all and some is out of stock.

Transformer 4 Age of Extinction

Watch the DVD with my elder son. The arrival of Grimlock is a long wait, but it's a blast.

Sudden interest from my 2nd son on Transformer, digging back the previous DVD of Transformer 2 (ROTF) and 3 (DSOTM). As new year gonna come, bought them Transformer school shoes as well.

JLB Journey to the West and Hello Kitty

JLB, although not my top choice, but they do come out with characters that other brands, even Lego do not. The mini figures follows Lego design, but. JLB seems to be coming out with Asian-Oriental anime superheroes characters or Asian folklore.
Hello Kitty, famous all over the world, became more famous after Sanrio anounced that Hello Kitty is not a cat. Hello Kitty as minifig is actually not bad. Cutie.
But, the characters from "Journey to the West" (Chinese :西游记; pinyin: Xī Yóu Jì) as Lego minifigs are really unique. These characters are like demi-gods from Chinese folk religion with Taoist and Buddhist teachings. People actually pray to the monkey god. I actually saw this set selling recently at a PC fair (overpriced, so I did not buy it). The  minifigs are not really great in detail, but some looks better in actual vs. what's illustrated, JLB should improve their side accessories like SY and not always give the same boring bricks.

Lightning Mc Queen

One of Disney characters that is once my elder son's favorite, Lightning McQueen from Cars. Love the movie, Cars from Pixar, but Cars 2 is not really that great. Got this cheap bootleg set under the Bella brand. Quality wise, good enough as a kid's toy, but not as collectors item. (the die cast model is better for collection)

SY170 CHIMA 3 and SY129 CHIMA 4

Another 2 sets of CHIMA minifig from Sheng Yuen (SY), CHIMA 3 (SY170) and CHIMA 4 (SY129), both comes in 8 boxes set. Its funny that I can't get any image of the boxes for CHIMA 4 from the net. It is actually CHIMA characters in Gold-Fire costume. It is selling on Lego under CHIMA Fire and Ice 2014.

Iron Man Hall of Armors, BatMan Bat Mobile and Star Wars Micro SD

Bought 3 boxes of Sheng Yuan bootlegos, Star Wars Microfighters SY205B, Batman Batmobile with Henchman SY302 and Iron Man Hall of Armors Malibu  SY305; total combine piece count around 850 pieces.. All three boxes just slightly above USD30+.(current conversion rate)

The Bat Mobile is good, but the set I got has one incomplete fill brick (good thing I had a spare from later set). Henchman seems to be wearing Two Face's shirt.

Cool set for Iron Man collectors. Tony Stark's Hall of Armors - Malibu Lab. Come with 4 minifigs, same from SY first Iron Man series..
I always felt that SY's bricks fitting are a bit loose. On the bad side, it will fail the drop test easily, but on the good side, any wrong assembling can be easily disassemble. For those that assembled those flat Lego together will find that it is nearly impossible to separate them. Since the instruction booklet is a bit "not so friendly", mistaken assembling of bricks happened quite a few times on this set. But the finished model is great.

I have 3 original Lego Microfighters series, SY205B is the Star Destroyer (SD) set. Gave this to my 5+ years old kid and he painstakingly assemble it in two days. The fitting on this set is quite loose compare to the other vehicle sets. I actually wonders why SY make a Round black Pizza looking piece at the front of the Star Destroyer, original Lego do not have this. My elder son point out to me that this is actually the Galactic Empire logo. Sheesh... and I thought I am a Star Wars fan. Anyway, we can opt not to put this logo.

Those small Super Heroes plus vehicle set I bought quite a few, but this is the first time buying Sheng Yuen (SY300) big box set - 257 pieces.  The quality and fitting is actually good. I do not know if Lego have this similar set, the plane looks like a Black lobster, but it is unique..

SY Fantastic 4 - Fantastic Baby

Got this Fantastic 4 set (SY167) today. Been quite sometime Decool came out with F4, but I did not get it. This SY set is better. The Thing is big sized like the previous Big Hulk, with Granite patterned body (but the face is not that alike). Torch guy is great in Flame On mode (transparent). Silver surfer is "Silver". Doom is kinda let down, how come he has a sword? Most of the item comes with a so called weapon which is some "gold round stubs". What kind of weapons is these???. Those side bricks display (especially those fire guys) is Fantastic-Baby.
