SY Charlie IX Do Do Mo

SY252 Charlie IX DoDoMo. Did not get these from the usual street peddler. (he is on CNY shutdown). Got from a dept store, more pricey. Check from the net this is a 6 box set - only saw 3. The characters are actually from a Chinese children novel . If want to get some day to day accessories, this sets contain quite a few.

Decool King Steerer

Believe this is Decool's Technic series. The mechanism is good. Bought the 3344 Rescue Car and 3347 Telehandler. Both of these are just slightly above 100 pcs per set. A good construction set to let your kids learn about mechanical of things. Just that the set is a bit small. Will get more (and bigger boxes) if the street peddler bring in more stocks. Normally the street peddler I frequent will not take in those big boxes as it will increase his holding cost, impact is more if he is not able to sell it off..

SY Clash of Clans

Sheng Yuen SY261 - Clash of Clans COC). 6 minifig set, but two of them actually are the same Barbarian character, only the face is different. For Decool, they can easily print double face for this. I know the Barbarians is the most depicted character in the COC ads, but SY, at least give him a cape or something. I don't play COC (on this day...), but I know there are many other characters to choose from. For those that want to have an army of Barbarians (just like in the game), will be pleased. For me, a bit disappointed. Even the side bricks are identical in all 6 boxes.

There ARE many Barbarians here....

(Somehow later during 2016 and 2017, I am heavily into this game after my son have stopped his craze on COC)

First Decool - Cool

My first Decool brick set. Got these from Hong Kong before Decool actually become a common brand locally. Lego like Minifigures is not out yet during that time. It is from this 6 Super Heroes big box set that I got to know the good quality of Decool product. Don't be mislead by the funny naming (Bat Hero, Iron Hero, Green Giant...), these are high quality sets, but beware of many similar imitations of these imitation.

At the same time got this similar built heroes under the brand Enlighten. The joints fitting is looser compare with Decool. Anyway, I do not really have the complete set of these anymore after few years of playtime with the kids, Spidey lost one hand and his web launcher, while Wolvie only left the head and torso... some limbs  (Yah, the kids like to play with the web launcher and the extending claws).

SY258 -259 Heroes and Villains

SY releases two set (SY258 , SY259) of 8 box set super heroes and villains. Although some of the heroes has been released by Decool, but if you have not get those from Decool (due to limited Decool unavailability), can get this sets. Finally I got my Loki. Quite surprising SY came out with new unique mask - head gear looking characters (Galactus, Ant Man, Magneto, Nova, Cyborg etc.). No fancy side bricks, but an insignia of the specific characters.
Some of the figures faces are stretched to suit the mask's eye location, so, keep the mask on. Decool done a better job at this area.

LeLe Armed Raid

Been quite sometime I did not get any LeLe minifigures. LeLe's SWAT release is not that impressive compared to SY and Decool. But their recent release of an Army series titled "Armed Raid" is quite good, especially the accessories that comes with it (weapons, crates, sand bags). The box of 8 actually weigh much heavier than normal releases, except maybe SY's Fantastic 4 set.  The mini figures actually are low in details and LL is just not very good with color matching (SY Expendables is way better), but, buy this if you like the accessories. Anyway, with so many vest and equipments, it almost covers all the ugly printing.
LEGO do not promote any war series (Star Wars is exceptional), only bootlegos have armies sries. We really should make Love instead of war, but its part of mankind's history.

Decool Hero4 Star Soldier - Speeda Demon

The Furno bike 10188 is so nice, got to get this set as well. Got today, completed today. The figure looks better than Red Furno as Furno's legs are a bit skinny, The 4 arms with 2 long blades reminds me of General Grievious. The bike is supported by Demon as it do not have the "tongkat" (stick)

Bought Decool Jungle Vastus character for quite sometime, but only today my kid just built it. Speeda Demon must have sparks off some interest back into him.
