Bootlego minifigures of all sorts

Some request me to write more (really?) instead of just posting pictures, but I explained to them that this not a review site, hence the few words. Well, since it is nearly the end of 2018, I will do some personal comments on various Bootlego minifigures which I believe some already know what to expect after all these years.
LB+
I have not bought any LB before. But after I got one, I realize LB is actually LEBQ, and although LEBQ make their logo very similar to ori LG, their actual fig is NG (Not good). I gonna advise avoid if can, but I think I will go straight to the point, Avoid at all cost.
LOHO
Did not even know this brand exist until I saw it on the shelf. I got one of their translucent minifig, hence it came with a LED illuminated display stand. Not bad actually, but do anyone know which Ninja is this? This is one of the few presentable ones, some characters are really unknown.
JLB
Okay, I bought this brand some years back (way back) as they came out with some different characters. Been quite some time, and it seems like JLB has improved (just like LeLe) and is actually quite okay and more justified to buy. Still I should say get them for the different characters not released by other brands, like this Howard the duck in business suit. The bikes comes together. The set actually has the Duckpool minifig with bike, but already sold out.
DS (Disen)
My first time getting DISEN minifig. Got their AOU Vision release and Electro. Their minifig came with a so called "Super Scaling" display stand which is shown on the Electro minifig (maybe just fior this release). Base on the stand, you will know how good (or bad) their bricks are. But, the minifigs are ok with decent prints.
YE
YE, famous for their dino releases.I did get a YE before, but its more of a bootkreo than a bootlego. Their minifigs have articulation similar to KreO's minifig but with just basic front print. I got the SUREP X-MEN release and Professor X really looks like he's gonna puke.
OBM
Again another basic presentable minifig brand. OBM came out with quite a number of Ninja releases and other themes, and I think they are not bad. I only have one of them, hence can't really judge.
SL Toy
Give this brand an A and B (Awful and Bad). Everything is out, even the colors. I remember their horrible take on the minions minifig. Their later take on the minions did improve, but still Sucks.
Illumination
Any better?
Enlighten
Most of the time they come out with big sets. Their minifig series are their own original design, so ENLI can't really be called bootlego, and hence is quite a respectable brand. Somehow, most of the time they mainly do front print. I do not see any new minifigs sets from them recently, they may have improved, or they just concentrate back on their big sets. Get them for their unique Asian characters.
Dargo (DG)
Dargo, who dar-go to uncharted territory. DG mainly do bootlego, hence they are actually competing with some better bootlego brand which have better prints and fittings. Somehow I feel they are not really there, but still can can get them if really want to get the different characters. The thing is DG's hand are not compatible with the other bootlego hands, like to use alternative parts and they are not generous with additional minibuilds either.
TIGER
Seldom comes to my area. Not bad, but still not up to par.

Welcome 2017 - This and That

2017 is already here ..Happy New Year
Here are some of "this & that" purchases from last year which I did not post....(or forgotten I have posted)

AOU Mini Hulk from SY. What's that big round thing with a handle at the back??? His hair looks smart huh?
Thor, I have made my own Mjolnir
Following the Pokemon (GO)  Craze of 2016 .This Charizard figure need to be assemble with a mechanism linking the wings, tail and mouth, hence activation of any one will move the other two. Hands and feet are pose able. (not a bootlego type toy) Size similar with those big fig.

The Pirate sword toy, poke the wrong hole and the pirate will jump out. Fun during parties. This toy also functions as a coin box.... is this hinting a Jackpot play mode?
There is treasure inside the barrel
This is not a toy, but a power bank of a purple Totoro. My girl love it. Teeth lights up when full power. To them, its a toy.
Brush your teeth always to look like mine
Transparent Ninjago minifigs from DLP. Set of 8 including the usual coloured Ninjas. I only got them villains

Cheap brick toy from unknown brand. Just imagine fitting, finishing plastic quality are twice as bad as the usual bootlego brand. They came out with the Cars3 characters. I just get Mater.
I may look cheap, but my crane is functional
Decool bigfig Ironman IGOR. Has been around for quite some time. Very good release from Decool. One of the top.
Cool
Sembo ship series, came out 4 in their initial release. I just got one.
Pink?

BootLego and All Sorts

It has been one full year since I started this blog. Initially, this blog was created just for the memory of  the toys my kids and I spend our time together, as well as all the other items and activities of interest (the all sorts). It was never meant to be a review site for any toys or places.

Somehow due to the popularity of "BootLego-s", I find myself buying more mini figures (minifigs) and brick related toys vs.other, hence this blog have more posting on brick toys and minifigs rather than other type of toys. Hence, maybe I should rename the blog as "BootLego toys and all sorts".
Heroes visiting the Spasskaya tower
I even find myself starting to collect them bootlego minifigs. This is because those minifig depicts the characters so well that it is a very good visual memory re caller for characters from movies, cartoons, comics, digital games, events and even famous celebrities, and them bootlegs brand made it more affordable and with more varieties. For those that collect minifigs (original or bootlegs) you will know how to relate to this. I don't really call myself a collector, I just collect what come (selling) at my area. I try my best not to buy duplicates of the same characters, but sometimes unavoidable. Below are some similar characters but different in one way or another .....
I remember it is hard getting the first decent Black Widow (BW) from bootlegs
(LeLe BW, Black BW, Clevage BW, Pre-AOU, AOU hairstyle BW)
Fury, Fury with coat, Fairer Fury, AOU Fury
Comic Thor, 1st Avenger Thor, Dark suit Thor, Helmet blue suit Thor, AOU Thor
Shades of GREEN
Decool 1st Avenger HawkE (dual face), Comic HawkE, Classic Purple HawkE, SY HawkE, AOU HawkE
The many variations of CapA (forget to include the baby face AOU variant)
The minifig I have the most variant will of course be Iron Man, due to the various Mk armor suits he has. Spiderman and Batman have the most identical repeats due to the various big boxes and vehicle set purchased.

Even though this was never meant to be a review site, somehow the sharing of opinions and memory make this blog looks like another review site. Anyway, there are many good toys review sites out there, especially for bootlegos. For visitors who came to this site just to get some quick or short review, you're welcome. It has been one good year of Bootlegos (and for Dinosaur).
The Dinosaur (Jurassic World) out gross the Super Heroes (Avengers) in the box office this year
Due to mainly now mostly buying brick toys, hence I renamed this blog as "Brick Toys and all sorts"

Decool King Steerer - Container Truck and Off Roader

Decool Technic series. The big 1300 pcs Ferrari set seems a bit tough for my 10 year old, complicated and made a few mistakes while building. So, got this smaller 100+ pieces set - The 3343 Off Roader (slightly bigger box) and 3345 Container Truck. Do not really know what a Off Roader is, but look like a Dirt Racer (definitely something that travels off the road). Similar Technic base assembling with movable mechanism feature.

Somehow the spring in the middle of the Off Roader does not do much, do not know what it is for
The container truck is better

Decool 3333 - Famous car - Ferrari

This is Decool copy of Lego Technic Racer series, if not mistaken Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Being 1:10 in scale, the finished model will be approx. 18 inches in length. For bootlego, this is the biggest and most expensive set bought todate from the street peddler, 1322 pieces. Good to take up some time during my kids coming school holiday.

Started assembling on the next nearest Sunday. Sorting the parts already takes close to an hour. Mainly assemble by my 10+ yr old. The box comes with two instruction books,: 71 pages + 55 pages. Although it states 6+ years, but I think it should be minimum 12 years of age as the linking (or instruction) is sometimes confusing and prone to error. An older child will appreciate the mechanism of all those gears, axles, drive shaft and replica parts (we even need to build the engine with pistons).
The contents of the box
The various Technic parts (but quality so-so)

Day one ( not full day) only complete till page 38, but most of the small parts are in the first few pages of book 1. Although my kid is quite eager to start, but the rest of book 1 is completed by me as my kid kinda lose interest after the engine portion and got bored fixing the various parts of the car frame.
end of book 1 ... so far so good

Book 2 is restart by my kid and we took around 2 weeks ( a lot of rest in between,  only spend more time during the weekends) to complete assembling the Ferrari.
Apart from a movable engine and steerable rotating wheel, all the doors can be open
BUT, there are missing parts in this kit, so Decool is not that good in quality control either. If it is 2-3 parts missing, I should say maybe due to my side of negligence, but it is more than 13 pieces parts missing. (mainly the small joints). So, I need to reconfigure some usage of the parts (replace with some extra pieces that comes along), in a way, not following the instruction on the parts to use in some portion of assembling. Somehow, I do not know if I assemble it wrongly or some of the instruction is not correct. At least I am able to complete the car with some minor detail missing (which I believe will overcome when I get some spares along the way).
Good Technic building block experience, but wait for your kids to be older
A good experience in building using Lego Technic clones bricks (without spending a fortune), but most probably I will not be getting any more big box set exceeding 1000 pcs until my child is older. Their patience and is not really present for detail builds.
