Tiger JX1119 Commandos

Although Tiger brand minifigs has been out for quite sometime, this set may not be well known. No alternate faces though.Basic front prints, but do have one side arm print.

Only got 3 of 6 releases. Came with side builds as well, as they are in slightly bigger box. No generous supply of weapons, only one given per minifig.

Funny this box I got comes with no instructions (for the mini builds).
(Only got one fig - not so elite huh)

LeLe PUBG theme Army

This LeLe army release has the PUBG logo on the box art. Well, PUBG is customize able, so anything is applicable..., but, apart from the cute vehicles (etc), the armies are just regular army minifigs and in a way do not really have any resemblance of PUBG, .

All of them have good side prints and back leg prints.  All came with a black vest, but this will cover the details of the torsos. Somehow the legs green is kinda "off". Think this is base from the EA Battlefield game.

DLP 9061 Bloody Jungle War

This set from DLP is titled Bloody Jungle War. Dual faces, no side prints, but good back leg prints. Weapons I think is the same old stuff.

This is an 8 in 1 build makes a helicopter. Not bad design.

Sembo 11599 Block Gold mini set

Clutch for this set is not that strong, especially the tent poles. Anyway, the pieces that came together in this set are quite a lot.

DLP 9036 Army

Been awhile did not get some military personnel. Here are some heavy camouflage guys. This set has been around quite some time, but the sling belt across the torso (to hold a weapon) is new to me. Since it is of soft rubber type, may not last for tropical weather environment.

All of them have dual faces, but them hats are not covering the back of the head, so, not advisable to display their back view. Each have different print details and weapons. The last two are the bad guys. Why only 7 figs? Because the store I went only have 7.

SY606 World War II

Been awhile SY come out with uniform personnel sets. (the SWATs sets are good). This new WW2 set is even better. Bring back the memories of my younger days looking at those retailers displaying their dioramas of war zones with Airfix or MatchBox plastic assemble and paint army sets. Somehow SY do let us make a simple Brick type diorama. A great set for those who like to collect weapons and war zone accessories - total over 170 pcs for this 8 boxes set. (no dual face nor side arm print)

The Brits also come with similar brick walls, but the 7x sand bags and bush is replaced with 3x rocls and a nice tree

LeLe Armed Raid

Been quite sometime I did not get any LeLe minifigures. LeLe's SWAT release is not that impressive compared to SY and Decool. But their recent release of an Army series titled "Armed Raid" is quite good, especially the accessories that comes with it (weapons, crates, sand bags). The box of 8 actually weigh much heavier than normal releases, except maybe SY's Fantastic 4 set.  The mini figures actually are low in details and LL is just not very good with color matching (SY Expendables is way better), but, buy this if you like the accessories. Anyway, with so many vest and equipments, it almost covers all the ugly printing.
LEGO do not promote any war series (Star Wars is exceptional), only bootlegos have armies sries. We really should make Love instead of war, but its part of mankind's history.

Sheng Yuan SWAT - SY260 The Expendables

SY SWAT release is good, but now they release another 8 box set based on a movie characters from the Expendables (SY260). Some of the minifigs can easily be identified as they do look like those famous actors in the movie. (Stallone's mouth - haha), but some need some guessing.
After looking in the internet for the actual characters inside the movie, I think SY actually based this set on the Expendable 3 movie. I arranged the figures based on the picture below. (actually, Snipes can be Crews)

I exchanged Stallone's arm with Mel Gibson.

Each of the characters come with a set of replica weapons of the original, I did not display all the weapons here. Well, there's still many more characters from the Expendables that SY can based on. So, hopefully SY's Expendables will be Expandable.

S.W.A.T. SY168

Nice set of 4 pieces minifigs from SY. Lots of accessories (weapons) are included.
